Tarot as a tool for transformationby Lady Tara
Throughout the course of my career as a psychic Tarot reader, I would have to say that I’ve learned a lot about fate and free will. They are almost like the lines in a drawing. And in a way, it’s as if they form a map for a person’s life. Wouldn’t it be helpful if we all had a map for our lives?
I’ve been doing readings for the past 15 years, I’ve been working professionally for about 10 years. But it’s really only been about 2 years that I’ve been doing this every day. I have to say that I started to feel kind of guilty when people would be paying me to give them bad news. I would put down several spreads in hopes of telling them something positive. And usually, I would finally pull something out that would be helpful. Sure, it’s easy to tell a person on the edge of a break-up that there will be something much better for them down the road. I generally wanted to do more, especially when they were having what felt like a run of bad luck.
I came to discover that doing Tarot, or any kind of divination, is a bit like having a map on the road of life. I can’t always tell about a person’s whole life. I generally project out within 12 or so months. I can generally pinpoint where a person is at, and what lies ahead. But at any time we all have the power to change where we are going in life. Just like when you drive, you can decide that you may have made a wrong turn…or maybe you decide that you don’t want to drive across “the badlands”…you have the power to change direction and do something different.
