Tarot
Tarot is a set of 78 cards divided into the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. The 21 cards of the Major Arcana represent Archetypal images which can be used in readings or meditation to give you strength to rise to a challenge, warnings in order to avoid unpleasantness (if that’s your thing) or signposts to help you find your way. The Minor Arcana is divided into 4 suits (traditionally Swords, Cups, Wands and Pentacles) which represent the four elements (Air, Water, Fire and Earth). The Minor Arcana is the work horse of the Tarot deck and generally represents your emotional connection to the circumstances in your life. The power of Tarot is through your personal connection with these images. The stories they tell can bring you to a catharsis and help you move on to the next step.
